When CZ set about designing their next generation pistol, CZ worked with legendary pistol designer Frantisek Koucky to develop a new kind of pistol that stood out from its rivals at the time in a number of ways that made it a world wide sensation. The CZ 75 brought with it an ergonomic grip with textured sides that made it comfortable to hold and to use. Its slide was stationed inside the frame rather than fitting over it like other pistols at the time. This made the CZ 75 an incredibly sturdy and smooth pistol to cock.
